In this video, James Burton talks about his first guitar that he recorded many sessions with including "Suzie-Q" by Dale Hawkins, "Hello Mary Lou" by Ricky Nelson, as well as sessions with Merle Haggard.

Burton also talks about the call he got from Fender in '69 while he was on his way to play with Elvis Presley in Las Vegas. James met Elvis in '69 after doing an album with Frank Sinatra. Elvis called him personally and spoke for 3 hours about putting a band together.

Also discussed is the influence that Chet Atkins had on him as well as Les Paul and Merle Travis.
