독일의 록그룹 스콜피온스(Scorpions)의 대표곡 Wind of Change(변화의 바람)을 연주했습니다.
많은 분들이 아시는 것처럼 이 곡이 쓰일 당시 1991년 이때는 독일의 베를린 장벽이 무너지고 미국과 소련의 냉전시대가 종식되면서 러시아 공화국의 개혁, 개방정책이 시작되는 변화의 시기였습니다.
그리고 소련 연방의 붕괴는 현재의 우크라이나 국가 독립의 계기가 되었죠.
그룹의 리드보컬인 'Klaus Meine'은 그 즈음 소련을 방문하면서 시대적 상황이 담긴 이 곡을 작곡하면서 이 곡이 탄생하게 되었습니다.

90년대 말 고등학교 재학 중 음악 선생님께서 수업 시간에 이 곡의 설명과 함께 뮤직비디오를 보여주셨던 게 생생한데 20여 년이 흐른 지금 슬픈 역사가 다시 반복되는 모습을 보면서 외교에는 영원한 친구도 적도 없구나 생각하게 됩니다.
다시 러시아와 우크라이나에 평화의 향기를 담은 변화의 바람이 일어나길 바라겠습니다
