Kanye West’s Video Game Quest: Only One - Stuck in Development Limbo

While Kanye West is a polarizing figure to some — he’s an influential figure to many others. He not only shaped the sound of Hip-Hop in the mid-2000s but also changed the fashion industry with his billion dollar brand, Yeezy. Kanye began his career in Hip-Hop as a producer in the 90s. He notably contributed four soulful tracks to Jay-Z’s The Blueprint in 2001, one of Jay’s most critically acclaimed albums.

The game, Only One, is based on the song of the same name by Kanye featuring Paul McCartney. It’s a song from the perspective of Kanye’s mother meant as a message to his daughter, North.
