Canadian singing sensation k.d. Lang in concert performed Fever live by request in 2001. k.d. lang band members are Gregg Arreguin on guitar, Teddy Borowiecki on keyboard, Amy Keys on background vocals, Abe Laboriel Jr. (of Paul McCartney Band) on drums, Greg Leisz on guitar, pedal steel, Kate Markowitz on background vocals and David Piltch on bass.

Album Ingénue contained k.d. lang's most popular, much acclaimed song "Constant Craving." The mezzo-soprano singer won the 1992 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Constant Craving was also nominated for Grammy Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Roy Orbison chose k.d. lang to record a duet of his standard "Crying." Their recording won the 1989 Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals.
