Mick Jagger has released a teaser for the song "Bite My Head Off," which features Paul McCartney, off The Rolling Stones' upcoming album Hackney Diamonds.

The Rolling Stones' upcoming record, which will feature all new songs since 2005's A Bigger Bang, is scheduled for release on October 20. The Stones revealed the album's details last week and unveiled the opening single, "Angry," along with a music video starring Sydney Sweeney of Euphoria.

The Stones have worked with Lady Gaga, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and McCartney on Hackney Diamonds. 'Bite My Head Off' is the former Beatles member's first time playing bass for the group, despite their friendship spanning decades. It was also disclosed that he recorded a different song for the group, which will be included on an upcoming album.

Wood remembered how they initially struggled to get the album off the ground and how McCartney gave him advise on how to choose a producer in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. The guitarist explained: "I said, 'We need a referee,' because I felt like things were getting a little out of hand. Paul McCartney asked me, "How's it going?" as we were having dinner. I added that we require a leader to direct us. And he responded, "Well, there's this little New York boy named Andrew Watt. "Try him out."

When the actual process to producing the album got underway, McCartney dropped by Watt's studio to record some bass. Jagger had already called Watt to produce the album. Paul and I had previously collaborated on songs and frequently went together, but we'd never played music together, according to Jagger.

I didn't know what song to do, he continued. Should we perform "Depending on You" in a balladic style? or another thing? Well, let's try him on your punk song, "Bite My Head Off," Andy replied. Paul appeared to be extremely content to perform in a band where he wasn't in charge of everything; he was just the bass player. And he rocked out hard. He blended right in. It was as though we had been playing with him for ages. It was an extremely positive feeling.

Wood recalled: "Paul said to me, 'Can you believe, here we are in the studio together?'" McCartney had been excited to collaborate with The Rolling Stones. "I'm playing with the Rolling Stones," he declared, "which is a dream come true." And who is doing the producing? Exactly like we said, Andrew. Like a young child at a toy store, he was enthralled.

The publication of Hackney Diamonds is scheduled for October 20.
