On this day in 1987, George Harrison released his album Cloud 9 after a five year hiatus as a solo artist. His cover of Rudy Clark's Got My Mind Set On You went to number one in the US charts and number 2 in the UK!
Coincidentally, Paul McCartney's greatest hits album All The Best! was released on the very same day!
