An incredible, sharp-witted, and surprisingly blunt moment from the mid-70s! In this October 1976 archive interview, Paul McCartney is asked the one question he’s heard every day since 1969: "When are the Beatles getting back together?"
Instead of a standard PR answer, Paul delivers a spontaneous, rhyming warning to the press. He explains that everyone is doing fine on their own, and if the question doesn't stop, "ain't no one gonna get no peace." He ends the poem with a hilarious but firm ultimatum: "If you ask it just once more, I think I'm gonna break your jaw!" A classic example of Macca’s humor being used to protect his new life with Wings.
Do you think the media was too obsessed with a Beatles reunion in the 70s? Tell us! ????
