PAUL MCCARTNEY appeared on the TONIGHT SHOW while promoting the film GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADSTREET. Topics addressed include Beatlemania; Carson claiming Ed Sullivan name-checked him during The Beatles 1st appearance to Paul's deference; and McCartney calling out for Johnny being absent when he and John Lennon were on the Tonight Show in 1968 with guest host (Baseball legend) Joe Garagiola. I traded for this clip in the 1980's....so it is notch below usual channel quality.
