Oscar-nominated actor Paul Mescal joins TODAY to talk about playing William Shakespeare in the new film “Hamnet” which tells the powerful story of love and loss behind one of the playwright’s masterpieces. “There’s a lot of love at the center of it, which I think adds to the heartbreak,” he says. He also talks singing and learning to play guitar left-handed for his role as Paul McCartney in the upcoming biopic on the Beatles star.
