Revealed: Paul McCartney Was Reconciled with John Lennon Before his Death.

Paul McCartney has voiced his joy that he and John Lennon managed to reconcile prior to Lennon's killing, considering the historically tense relationship between the two Beatles members in the aftermath of their separation.

In the years after the band broke up, their relationship was strained by legal and financial battles over the band's back catalog.

McCartney has fortunately confirmed that he and Lennon were once again great friends before the latter's murder by Mark David Chapman outside his New York City apartment in 1980.

In his new podcast series titled McCartney: A Life in Lyrics, the singer reflected on his feelings on McCartney's death, saying, "In the end, I was extremely relieved that we had spent some truly enjoyable times together prior to his murder."

According to McCartney, "It would have been the worst possible outcome if he had been murdered and our relationship had remained strained." "That would have caused me considerable guilt." Thankfully, we were able to have a pleasant conversation about bread baking.

Reflecting on their former degree of enmity, he recalled to the audience the severity of the conflict that had ensued between the two persons. You should know that I took him and others of his lifelong pals from Liverpool to court."There is a substantial amount of resolution that needs to be achieved."

In an earlier podcast episode, he went into greater detail about the afterlife inspiration and influence that Lennon continues to have on his creative journey.
