THE TRUTH: Apple Scruffs & Paul McCartney's Bathroom Window

The Beatles superfans APPLE SCRUFFS are mentioned not only in the famous George Harrison song named after them, but they are also supposedly the inspiration for a Paul composition on Abbey Road as well. Paul says "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" is about a criminal Apple Scruff. But is that even possible?
The Scruffs gathered at the Beatles offices, Apple Corps in Savile Row London during 1969-1972. So really, the group took shape as the band was falling apart. The Apple Scruffs were, however, around during the recording of George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass and other important recording sessions and film projects in the early 1970s. This is the history of THE APPLE SCRUFFS, and how they became part of Beatles History- even when they didn't want to be.
