2020 Porsche Taycan will be offered with two battery capacity options and three different power outputs. In addition to 80 kWh and 95 kWh batteries, the Taycan should be able to generate either 402 hp, 536 hp, or 670 hp. The powertrain that enables such intriguing figures consists of a couple of electric motors on each axle which provides the Taycan with all-wheel drive. Moreover, the most powerful of the available setups should be able to propel the Taycan to 60 mph from a standing start in just 3.5 seconds. The total range will depend on the chosen setup itself, but the Germans certainly won’t let us down. In addition, they’re working on an all-new ultra-fast 800-volt charger network which should be able to provide around 250 miles of battery life after only a 15-minute stop at the station.The 4-door coupe shouldn’t be confused with the Panamera, but they’ll at least have one thing in common – price. Expect the Taycan to start from the mid-$80,000 range and climb to almost $200,000 with all the performance, safety and luxury equipment included.After all, their logo depicts a prancing horse upon the Free People’s State of Württemberg crest and, considering it’s a Porsche, the Taycan will definitely be “lively.” Despite representing a step out of the German manufacturer’s comfort zone, the Taycan won’t differ from other Porsche models in terms of styling.
