Notes about my experience editing and uploading:


This is officially the first Short I uploaded that I edited on CapCut. sometime last year I forget when it must have been like in fall I think I started using YouCut to edit the videos on my phone into shorts that I would upload here to YouTube, But it turns out I was wrong with my impression that YouCut was free as they wanted to charge me to continue using the app. I think it was like $15 to buy the full version but I figured you know what why don't I just try another free app and see how that goes and I have seen ads for this app before so I decided yeah let's give CapCut a try.

Well I am so far quite pleased with how things have turned out. CapCut is actually very similar to YouCut However I have found that when I zoom in on the timeline to edit frame by frame it appears to be a little more precise on CapCut than it is on YouCut. I also have to point out that I was having difficulty uploading this as a short before. I actually was trying to back in April. In fact I was able to upload the full video of what you see here to TikTok no problem. But uploading to YouTube was quite an obstacle initially. whether I was just trying to upload it and edit in the YouTube shorts editor or after editing and exporting the video using YouCut And then uploading it from there I just couldn't get it uploaded, but with CapCut It worked.
